We are VERY exciting here at Bebe + Me HQ - we had a HUGE delivery of new super cute baby leather shoes arrive today.... so guess what I've been doing for most of the day!!!

These soft leather shoes are ideal for pre-walkers, but also make GREAT little slippers for your little toddler when around the house.

The supply leather means plenty of room for little toes to wriggle about and with a non-slip suede sole they are prefect as house slippers, especially if you have wooden or tiled flooring.

The elasticated ankle makes them super easy to put on, but also helps to keep them secure of little ones feet and as there nice and light weight your little one will soon forget they even have them on.

As a mum of a very dribbly baby, I completely understand the nightmare situation it is of keep your little one dribble-free.

Bamboo could not suit a baby textiles brand better. Her vision is to offer bamboo products for all its benefits, combined with colour and gorgeous print designs.

Here in the UK the Sun has finally made an appearance (although it is still a little chilly).... but Spring is definitely on the way and from past history (especially the last 2 or 3 years) March and April have been really good months, weather wise.

Mummy's on the Go!!!

Becoming a new mummy is a complete shock to all the sense's and one thing I found especially important was to get out of the house. As a first time mum I found it really daunting waking up every morning with no creative goal apart from caring for my precious son. Now some of you will say looking after a child is the most fulfilling role any women can take on.... However I'm sure I'm not alone; but when you've worked all your working life its a shock to the system when all of the sudden your not!!

Anyway I found the best tonic was to get out and about; join play groups, clubs, meet other new mums and find new friends. At first this can also seem quiet daunting (its funny how baby's require so much stuff) but once your in to a routine it becomes second nature.

Whilst decorating my son's bedroom and then playroom for some unknown reason I was drawn towards everything and anything to do with pirates.

Now that he is a little older and is beginning to form words and favour certain toys over others, we are again being drawn towards a theme (at the moment its dinosaurs)... These chosen themes often find themselves appearing in other items we buy for them such as; book, clothes and bedding.

Dribbling has never been funkier!!

Dribbling is a tell tell sign that your baby is teething, along with rosy red cheeks and general grumpiness.

Depending on your baby they may dribble heaps or none at all; my son Eton starting dribbling at about 4 months and goes through stages where he dribbles a lot or none at all... at the moment (16 months) he's dribbling a lot again as well as being incredibly grumpy (but its his bigger back teeth coming through so its all understandable)....

This is when I found our Bebe + Me Bandana Dribble Bibs a life (and clothes)saver... the funky bandana style allows these dribble bibs to become a functional fashion accessory.

Bebe + Me's New Year's resolution was to increase our google ranking by any means... The endless Blogging, Tweeting and FB have made some headway but not improved our ranking so much that we hit the golden 1st page....

So we've decided to take out some Google Adwords!!! To be honest we have no idea what we're doing BUT our advert is there and ready to be clicked (but please don't all rush out and click on it!!)

So fingers crossed this might generate a few sells; for our collection of beautiful handmade baby and toddlers gifts: bandana bibs, tag blankets, baby leather shoes, toddler clothes, busha leggings, dribble bibs, knitted hats, soft toys, rag dolls.

We have also uploading products to google shopping (again however we know very little about how to increase our ranking on this, but it all helps in one way or another).

Product research??

Designing your own website is a challenge, trying to increase your google ranking is something else. I also have the added difficulty of knowing which search terms people and potential customers are using; is it "bandana bib" "dribble bib" "kerchief"..???

After intense blogging, networking and more blogging I have seen a slight increase in one search term but the others stay frozen... GRrrr!!!

I suppose the only way around this is to use all keywords in ever blog I write (not great to people reading them though), bt how else can I make the precious time spent networking and blogging work for me?

As a complete novice at all of this I find myself even questioning the use of adding "links" to Blog etc, do the little crawler bots read the links or would it make more sense to actually write the web page address in full???
